Red Ribbon Art Competition & Exhibition

In the months leading up to AIDS Awareness Week, local artists are being invited to submit art work using the red ribbon as a guideline.   A project and design brief, as well as a red ribbon, will be sent to identified local artists/art students asking for them to submit an expression of interest in entering in the competition.

The art work submitted will then be displayed during the awareness week at the Red Ribbon Art Exhibition. An opening night, including music and guest speakers, will launch the exhibition. Winning art entries will also be announced.

When: Exhibition to be held from Friday November 21-Monday December 1; 10.00am-5.00pm

            An opening night will be held on Friday November 21 at 6.00pm 

Where: Gallery B, BRIT (Chapel Street Bendigo)

Financial Counselling Workshop

Lynda Horn, Coordinator of the David Williams Fund at the PLC, will be running a Free financial counselling workshop specifically for staff and client members on Tuesday 22nd of July at CAN.
The workshop will provide information about how to save, budget, get out of debt, and provide alternatives to credit and bankruptcy. A range of fact sheets telling what to do and how to do it will also be available.
The workshop will run for approximately 2 hours and lunch will be provided. Places are limited so please RSVP early.
